So after two months of knitting and maybe another month or so of blocking and reblocking (and re-reblocking), this is the finished fourth Doctor scarf--following the pattern for the original, unabridged season 12 scarf worn by Tom Baker--made for as a birthday present. It measures roughly 15 feet, so it did turn out a little long after blocking, but I think with this scarf you can never really be too long. XD This was taken earlier this week, right before I wrapped it up and set it aside for the party today. It was started in late May or early June and not completed until about three weeks ago. It took a lot of patience, both with the knitting and the blocking (it's mostly acrylic yarn, which doesn't really block at all unless you steam it, and since it was so long it had to be done in many smaller sections), but I think it was well worth it and will be missing the scarf now that I've handed it off to the person it was originally for^^
The pattern I used can be found here: [link] Doctorwhoscarf.com and wittylittleknitter.com were really helpful to me making this, and I'd recommend either of them if you want to try this out yourself. It cost me somewhere between $20-30, so I guess it's not too bad costwise.
Obviously I don't own the pattern or Doctor Who or anything affiliated with them.
